Ligro is a trio of musicians who brings experimental Jazz Rock for their music. Ligro defines “orgil” (crazy people in Bahasa). The concept is related to their minds. They play music as what their hearts say and they just listen to their hearts and turn it into music with endless exploration and limitless transformation.
Ligro trio was established in 2004 and released the first album called ‘Dictionary 1’. The different cultural background of each member gives more colors for their music. Adi is originally from Madura, Hendy is from South Kalimantan and Agam is decent of Aceh and West Java. The perfect example to illustrate the cultural influence in their music is the use of Gondang, traditional drum from Batak ethnic tribe, which makes a perfect harmony with the western percussion set played by Hendy in Kalimantan beat.
